The Pines Vineyard may be the oldest vineyard in the Pacific Northwest. Planted around the turn of the century, the vineyard was resurrected in the early ‘80s by vineyard manager Lonnie Wright and now produces one of the most interesting and complex wines from the Columbia Valley. 2021 was another in a long string of good vintage years. That, meticulous vineyard care, puny crop sizing and reverential winemaking produced this rich, full-bodied ambrosia. Not for the faint of palate!
